We had a full weekend of activities. Saturday morning there was an Easter egg hunt at the Tucker house on Raguet street. We parked by the Elementary school and walked over there. We met Smokey the Bear on the way there...Peyton wouldn't get too close to Smokey - wouldn't say hi, so he stuck his basket in his mouth...
We got there at 9:30 and the Easter egg hunt didn't start until 10:00. Peyton got his pictures taken by a photographer for the Daily Sentinel. She was asking his name...so he put his basket on his head and pointed to his name tag. The cat gets his tongue when others talk to him. :-) Peyton did make the FRONT PAGE of the newspaper on Sunday. Woo hoo! Here is a link to a small slide show of some of the pictures they took of Easter activities...he is closer to the middle & end.

They had face painting and bean bag toss for the kids to do while they waited for the egg hunt to begin. It was a little cool in the morning, but it was a beautiful out and it turned out to be a beautiful day with awesome weather.
We had a get together at Arlene & Jeremy Smith's at 4:30 and had another egg hunt there for the kids. Someone brought confetti eggs - so the kids had fun breaking the eggs on each other's heads. We all had confetti in our hair. Ryne found a lollipop, ate the wrapper off - LOVED that lollipop so much he decided to roll it in the dirt, stick it in his mouth, roll it in the dirt some more...until we noticed and took it away. He was NOT happy about that...so Arlene gave him Maya's half eaten lollipop. Note to self...don't have child wear white shirt if they will be eating a lollipop. :-) We got a couple family pictures. Everyone brought a dish and Jeremy fired up the grill and made some great burgers and hot dogs. It was a lot of fun. I think we will have the next get together next month...
