We took a trip to Shreveport, LA when Alex was here. We always think it's a 1 1/2 hour drive, and it's a little over 2. We parked in a Casino garage since it's free and walked up this nice area by some of the casino's. A lot of the restaurants have closed in this strip in the last year. My guess is more people frequent the boardwalk and eat there since there is shopping. People who go to Casino's likely don't want to quit and take a time out to go somewhere and eat and probably eat in the casino.




These next 2 pictures were taken on the boardwalk. Peyton kept wanting to 'look at the water'. The boardwalk is a really nice area and has some great shopping. Many are outlet stores. They have some nice places to eat as well. We wanted to eat at BWs, but the wait was too long.

Peyton's first carousel ride. He really liked it. I went on with him. This was at the end of the boardwalk. He wanted to go on again.
